Welcome to my new blog installation. Here you will find daily updates and information about me and my passion.
My name Hans Gert Broeder, also known as Papa Hans or Bunakenhans. I am a professional underwater photographer. I photograph on Bunaken for years, so 6-7 months annually. My base is always my favorite resort Daniel's Homestay. I feel happy and contented there . Many of my fotos I have to thank the excellent crew. What the dive guides discover and show is incredible.
In this Hotel they have the best-value. There are 3 profuse meals, delicious, evening also usually meat or chicken in curry, not only fish, fish, fish as I got on the Togian. Even at breakfast, the excellent cooking-ladies offer also nasigoreng or pancake (That's not to be taken for granted in Indonesia), and not always egg and toast with marmalade. Added is always a small fruit salad, what more could you want? In the evening I recommend the soup, mother's style. Incredibly for a budget hotel.
The cheap rooms are decorated according to simple but clean and the bed, mosquito net intact. There are also slightly more expensive, even aircon up, something for every taste. They are also family friendly. A few weeks ago a couple of Poland with 2 children (3 and 5 years) where here. Dad and Mom went diving and the little children where staying in the Boot.Die crew took care for them and teached the 5-year old snorkeling. I could and should also shoot pictures of them, hilarious and delicious-looking. Table tennis is also available here, also unique in Bunaken. Chess players are wanted. Not that the resort does everything 100% (times clamps the window or the door creaks, etc.) is understandable, it is not in a 4-5-star box and just .. in Indonesia .... Oh I would have completely forgot, the great garden, the BEST of the island, is also mentioned in the Lonely Planet praised. Have a nice day, greetings from Bunakenhans
Mein Name ist Hans B. auch Papa Hans oder Bunakenhans genannt. Ich bin professioneller Unterwasserfotograf. Ich fotografiere auf Bunaken seit Jahren , so 6-7 Monate jaehrlich. Meine Basis ist immer mein Lieblingsresort Daniel's Homestay. Ich fuehle mich dort pudelwohl und bin sehr zufrieden. Viele meiner Bilder habe ich der ausgezeichneten Crew zu verdanken. Was die diveguides alles entdecken und zeigen ist schier unglaublich. Das- Preis- Leistungsverhaeltnis ist sehr gut. Es gibt 3 ueppige ausreichende mahlzeiten, sehr lecker, abend meistens auch fleisch in curry oder chicken und nicht immer nur Fisch, Fisch ,Fisch wie ich es auf den Togian erleben musste. Selbst beim fruehstueck sorgen die starken Koechinnen mit pancakes oder nasigoreng fuer Abwechslung ( nicht selbstverstaendlich in Indonesia) und nicht immer nur toast with egg and marmalade, dazu immer einen kl. fruchtsalat, was will man mehr? Abends empfehle ich die Suppe , wie bei Muttern. Unglaublich fuer ein Budget-Hotel. Die preiswerten Zimmer sind entsprechend einfach eingerichtet aber sauber auch das Bett , Moskitonetz intakt. Es gibt auch etwas teurere, sogar bis hin zu aircon, fuer jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Auch familienfreundlich sind sie. Vor ein paar Wochen war ein Polnisches Ehepaar mit 2 Kinder ( 3 und 5 J.) hier. Papa und Mama gingen Tauchen und die Kleinen war mit auf den Boot.Die crew sorgte sich ruehrend um sie und brachten dem 5-jaehrigen Schnorcheln bei. Ich durfte und sollte auch davon bilder schiessen, koestlich. Tischtennis gibt es auch hier , auch einmalig auf Bunaken. Schachfreunde werden gesucht. Dass im resort nicht alles 100%ig funktioniert ( mal klemmt das Fenster, oder die Tuer knarrt usw.) ist nachvollziehbar, man ist nicht in einem 4-5-Sterne-Kasten und eben ..in Indonesia.... Ach haette ich glatt vergessen, der tolle Garten, der BESTE der Insel, wird auch im Lonely Planet lobend erwaehnt.
